Sell-out for Robert Flint's new book about collaboration as a superpower for winning business

On 30 January at Riverside Books near London Bridge, Robert Flint launched his book, Working with Strangers, to a capacity audience, selling out all the books that had been ordered.
Written for an impersonal age, it's a book about how to make personal connections and grow a business through referrals. In his speech, Robert said it was about 'the challenges of being human and working with others who are different from us. It is about the audacity of trust that allows us to collaborate despite these difficulties.'

'Referrals are the best source of high-value, long-term customers,' he said. 'It's collaboration that makes us stronger than sum of our parts. It's built around people who we know like and trust.'
In this book, Flint sets out the case for building a modern referral strategy that uses the power of tech to connect and engage with all your potential connections, lead and partners. For individuals, whether natural communicators or not, it represents a rewarding way to establish a profile and build a career. For practices, when referrals are put at the centre of a market strategy, it creates the capability to build their own ecosystem, assemble a team of trusted collaborators and together bid for the best work.
